As a Texas native, Mick grew up playing sports throughout his youth and high school. After high school, he joined the United States Navy wanting to serve his country and travel the world. Serving in the Navy for 5 years through 4 deployments to the Persian Gulf on the USS Ronald Reagan - he got into CrossFit / functional fitness from his military service as a way to stay healthy. After spending some time with various CrossFit gyms in the San Diego area, he knew he wanted to make a career out of helping people with their health and wellness.
Mick has been coaching professionally since 2014, and has coached / trained a wide variety of clients throughout the years. He specializes in functional fitness with certifications including CrossFit Level 2, USAW Level 1, and he is currently finishing his OPEX CCP certification. He has helped many people achieve strength, weight loss, and quality of life goals throughout his coaching career. He also helped run and manage 210 Crossfit in San Antonio before making his transition to Houston.
Mick’s passion is to help those around him live healthier, fuller lives through active living and functional fitness.
